A LITTLE GUIDANCE. LESS GUESSWORK.

Bra Size Conversion

Know your size in one system? Compare its label in another.

Choose the sizing system printed on the bra or used by the retailer, wherever you live. Enter both the band and cup. This converts labels; it does not measure your body or guarantee the same fit across brands.

Convert your bra size

No measurements are needed or saved. Our US sequence uses DD, DDD, G, H…; other brands may name these cups differently.

International bra size chart

Read band and cup separately. These brand reference labels do not guarantee equal fit or availability. For EU, FR and AU/NZ we cover UK bands 28–46 and cups AA–HH. A band label such as EU 75 is not a conversion of your measured underbust to centimeters.

Why not every country?

There is no universal country-to-country conversion. Japanese, Italian and Chinese labels need further brand-specific validation. Even official charts can disagree, particularly for larger cups. Use the chart from the brand you are buying.

Common bra size conversions

Learning to read UK labels? Our UK bra size chartexplains DD, E, F and FF alongside measurement examples.

UK 32F → US 32G
Also EU 70G, FR 85G and AU/NZ 10F in our reference. The band and cup each follow their own mapping.
US 34DDD → UK 34E
Also EU 75F, FR 90F and AU/NZ 12E. DDD is a US label; it is not the same as a UK F in this sequence.
EU 75D → US / UK 34D
Also FR 90D and AU/NZ 12D. EU 75 is a band label, not an instruction to enter 75 cm as your underbust.

Need to turn body measurements into a size instead? Use the bra size calculator or measurement size chart.

What to check when choosing a bra size converter

  • Input and output systems: Check which system the retailer uses and which one you need. Enter the full band and cup; a cup letter alone does not identify a complete size.
  • Sources and coverage: Look for named reference charts, supported size ranges and a clear message when a size is outside them. Our conversion tables link to their sources; our coverage limitsexplain where this tool stops.
  • The brand you plan to buy: Compare the result with that brand’s chart. For example, Wacoal’s size charts include a US/UK cup table specifically for Elomi, Freya and Fantasie bras; do not treat a named-brand table as a universal standard.

What this converter can—and cannot—tell you

Our international-v1 reference draws on official Freya and Wacoal tables. It covers EU, FR and AU/NZ equivalents for UK bands 28–46 and cups AA–HH. US/UK labels extend to bands 26–50 in our tool. An unsupported result is shown as “Not covered,” never guessed.

A matching label does not guarantee matching wire width, cup depth, stretch or available stock. Use the brand’s own chart before buying, and check the fit when you try the bra.

Size conversion questions

Is a US DDD the same as a UK E?

Yes in this reference sequence. US labeling varies between brands, so use the complete size and check the retailer’s chart. Do not assume every “F” printed on a US bra means the same thing.

Are European and French bra sizes the same?

The cup sequence used here is the same, but the band labels differ. For example, EU 75D maps to FR 90D. These numbers are labels, not a conversion between measured circumferences.

Can I convert Japanese or Italian sizes here?

Not yet. We only offer mappings with the source coverage described above. For an unsupported system, consult the specific brand rather than treating a nearby country’s table as interchangeable.
